The Swedish Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences is a non-profit society for professionals active in the field of medicinal drugs. The aim of the society is to promote pharmaceutical research and the rational use of drugs.

The academy is the leading national provider of continuing education and post-graduate courses. Since 1972 over 70 international symposia have been held. Also the academy supports pharmaceutical research and education by awarding scholarships and grants and by publishing books and periodicals.
