Stockholm City Conference Centre AB is one of the largest conference and congress facilities in the Nordic countries with a total of 50 conference rooms in two buildings - Norra Latin and Folkets Hus. The conference centre is situated in the city centre of Stockholm, within walking distance from most hotels.
The Stockholm City Conference Centre is a listed building due to its architectural value. The present building was designed by the architect Sven Markelius and constructed in three phases during the 1950s. The building was inaugurated in June 1960.
On Tuesday evening, a reception in the Stockholm City Hall will take place by courtesy of the city of Stockholm and the County Council. The reception will include a buffet dinner and a guided tour through the building. The Stockholm City Hall is the venue for the Nobel Prize dinner. It was built from 1911 to 1923 to the design of architect Ragnar Östberg, and it is one of Sweden's foremost buildings in the National Romantic style.
