Ford Foundation Minority Health Professionals Scholarship to Clean Med The Ford Foundation has agreed to sponsor five minority health professionals to attend the Clean Med Conference: Environmentally Preferable Products and Green Buildings, to be held 19 -20 April 2006 in Seattle, WA.  Applications are due March 13, 2006.

Minority health professionals who are active in environmental health, the Health Care Without Harm campaign and/or Hospitals for a Healthy Environment (H2E) are urged to apply.

Airfare or local travel, 2 nights hotel, and conference registration will be provided. Registration for either the Green Building or H2E Awards preconference is extra.

Recipients of Ford Foundation Minority Health Professional Scholarships to CleanMed 2004 in Philadelphia are welcome to apply for 2006 Scholarships. If you plan to do so, please add to your application a brief description - no more than a paragraph - of your work on waste reduction and pollution prevention at your facility over the past 18 months and how your attendance at CleanMed 2004 contributed to the attainment of your institutional objectives.
